Fabulous little spot, serving tapas pizza. Popped in around 9pm, place was packed and buzzing but we managed to grab the last available table. You order at the counter, where your options are normal or vegan pizza tapas. Ordered 6 pizza's, a bottle of Vino Rosso and a Beer for the table. Bill came to €28 for the three of us! Dough was beautifully tasty and a couple of the 'surprise' pizza's were very enjoyable.
Unique and affordable concept. We went to La Finestra first which was full but they sent us to Gino Banana since it’s the same. There was a lot of seating available. You order your small surprise pizzas at the counter, either regular, veggie or vegan. Around €2,70 each. I’d get 2 pizzas per person or 1,5 if you also get the big €7 salad. Too bad they don’t have vegan cheese, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
This place takes after la finestra and another place in cabanyal (el finestar). The concept is great where you get drinks and simply order the number of pizzas you want. This one unfortunately is not as good as the others. Seems to be a place where if you are friends with the staff, you get treated better and served much faster. If you are fine waiting a long time for food (almost 1 hour for 2 mini pizzas) this place is ok but would rather recommend the others instead of this one. It is well located but not worth the time spent waiting.
We liked the concept - small pizzas & a surprise mix. We were recommended 5 different pizzas, one with burrata which was delicious & a dish of baked provolone cheese with bread. All good apart from one with tuna but we just personally don't like tuna. All 6 dishes, a jug of beer & jug of sangria & a coke came to €42. Nice atmosphere & friendly, patient service as our Spanish is not very good.
Sister place to another local hotspot for drinks nearby (we initially went there but there were no tables available so they directed us to this place).
Italian owned establishment, with staple drinks and dishes like aperol spritz and tiramisu, but not only. The pizza is a surprise - you just order it and they make it for you, with whatever ingredients they have, which is an interesting concept.
Overall, cool vibe and good food.
